We will leave Marrakesh to start our Tour to Dades Gorges. We pass through Tizi-n-Tishka in the high Atlas Mountains and have short stops to take some photos. We will visit the Ait Ben Haddou village which is recognized by UNESCO as a world patrimony. It is also the best place for famous cinema directors. And then continue our day enjoying the beautiful natural landscapes of Roses Valley, which is known by Festival of roses. After we arrive to Dades Gorges we stay here to spent in local hotel.
Today we arrive to Merzouga which is known for the highest sand dunes in North Africa. It is called Erg Chebbi Sahara desert .On our way, we will have the chance to see many oasis. After Rissani we will continue our way enjoying the green oasis of palm trees of Ziz –Tafilalet and the black Hamada before arriving to Merzouga and greet our camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp in the middle of the Sahara! This is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise. At this time, we will explore the secrets of the Sahara and its unlimited horizons.
After breakfast, you will go the distance round the dunes via the oasis of Merzouga, the nomadic depository, KHAMLIA town Blacks' town You'll visit the Gnawa individuals, initially slaves brought from Sudan, to encounter their music and way of life. Not far away there's the pool of Merzouga, with its winged animal populaces, you'll leave for Rissani. Once called Sijilmassa, this was the meeting place for the salt convoys, originating from Timbuktu in Mali. Here you’ll walk through the souk, selling spices, vegetables and cloths. After a lunch pizza in Rissani you will venture out back to your riad where your camel will anticipate you. After a glass of mint tea you will have an hour and a half camel trek will take us to a Berber camp amidst the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, the most noteworthy in North Africa. The camp consists of several comfortable Berber tents equipped with mattresses and linen, a restaurant, a kitchen. The evening will consist of dinner followed by entertainment provided by Berber drums.
Before sunset, you will be woken up to climb the sand dunes for phenomenal photograph opportunities. At that point we will advance back to the hotel for shower and breakfast before we proceed with our excursion to Ouarzazate, going through Alnif, Tazzarine, Nkob, and the Draa Valley. We will spend the night in a Riad/hotel in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast we will have some visits to Kasbah of Taourirt and studio cinema, and then go toward to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco Tizni Tichka 2260m high offering impressive views of valleys, mountains and many Berber villages nearby.
