One Night in the Desert Merzouga desert

This tour starts at evening; we organize the camel ride for the night in desert from a hotel near the sand dunes. And the trek will start right into the desert for 1:30min, we will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara, it will be a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise, when we arrive at the camp you can climb the high dunes to see the sunset. The night will be a magical, especially when the sky is clear and full of sparkle and shining stars with intensity. During the night, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire, and spend the night in a comfortable nomad tents. In the morning we will ride the camels backing to your accommodation where you’ll have the breakfast and shower in order to make you more relax.

7 Days Morocco Desert Tour from Casablanca

Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

Pick up from your Hotel in Casablanca or the airport and depart to the cultural capital of Morocco , the city of Fes. A stop is a must at the capital of the kingdom the city of Rabat to visit Kasbah of Oudaya and the Hassan Tower. Then we continue our road to join the city of Meknes where you will visit Bab Mansour Gate and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Lunch in Meknes then continue to visit the Roamn ancient village of Volubilis. After the visit we continue our way via the green landscapes of Saiss Hill to join the city of Fes. Overnight in Fes.

Day 2: Fes Tour

In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel/riad, and meet your local guide and start the visit, as you know to visit there is some monuments we will visit them by the car as the Royal Palace, ceramics places and panoramic view of Fez as Borj Nord which you can be see almost every corner of the city. but others monuments you will discover them on the foots, as the Mellah ( the old Jewish quarter) and the impressive Bab Bou Jeloud (the blue Gate to the Medina), University of al-Qarawiyyin, Visit a Leather Tannery and much more.

You can take the lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant where you can taste typical dishes of the region. After the tour done with local guide you can have free time to enjoy the city by yourself.

Day 3 : Fes - Ifrane - Midlet - Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast in your riad or Hotel, you will leave towards the southeast following the Caravan roads to Merzouga. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stopping at the Cedar forest, the largest one in Morocco, over the Middle Atlas Mountains– where you will sight Barbary macaques. After lunch in Midelt, you will continue through the large open high desert, and notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city ErRachidia.

Your journey continues along the luxuriant Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm grove, famous for date cultivation. This area is the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. You’ll arrive to Merzouga in the early afternoon, and then you will camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to spend a night under the nomad’s tents camp in the middle of the desert. Overnight at the desert camp.

Day 4 : Merzouga - Todra Gorges – Boumalne Dades- Dades Gorges

Today you can wake up early if you would like to enjoy spectaclar sunrise over the dunes, when the colour of the dunes combine with the play of shadows to make an awesome sight. After breakfast we leave desert to Tinghir and Todra Gorges. The road passes through Tinejdad and the Todra Valley. This stunning area affords plenty of opportunities to walk, such as along the river through the gardens or up the road on the other side of the gorge. Later, we will continue to the Dades Valley and the Dades Gorges before spending the night in a hotel.

Day 5 : Dades Valley - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakesh

After breakfast, we will leave to Marrakech, in our road we will pass the Roses Valley, which is famous for it’s Rose Festival in May. After getting Ouarzazate the Hollywood city, where we will visit kasbah of Taourirt, which was the home T’hami El Glaoui. Then later driving to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, UNESCO world heritage site – one of the best preserved and most spectacular Kasbah in Morocco. Later go Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, the highest road pass in Morocco via Tizi n t’ichka (2260 m). Enjoying with it’s panoramic views and their magnificent landscapes. Arrival Marrakech at night.

Day 6 : Exploring Marrakesh

Today you will meet your local guide, and start the visit with Majorelle Garden was made in the 1920s by the French painter Jacques Majorelle, with marble pools, raised pathways, banana trees, groves of bamboo, coconut palms and bougainvilleas. Later go to The Bahia Palace and Koutoubia Minaret, finally, end the tour by walking through the medina and Souk, getting a chance to admire all of the different artisans performing their craft. Afternoon you can enjoy your free time in Jaama El Fna Square an attraction for both locals within Marrakech and across Morocco as well as foreign visitors. It’s a place where there’s something to see and do from morning to night. everyday, snake charmers and henna ladies dot the square and scout for customers. As evening falls, the stalls are busy.

Day 07 :Casablanca Airport Transfer

After breakfast in your accommodation we will drive by the freeway to join the Mohammed 5 international airport. Drop off at the airport. End of our services.

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Medilt – Merzouga

We pick you up from your accommodation in the morning to start our Sahara Desert Tours from Fes, exactly to Merzouga via Midelt and Errachidia. The first stop will be in Ifrane, the “Moroccan Switzerland”, then to Merzouga via Midlet and the Ziz Valley.

During this visit, you will have a glimpse of the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas Mountains. Stop in the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you will have the opportunity to see the barbarian monkeys. Today around 9:00 am , we will go in 4 WD off-road tour around the dunes via the oasis of Merzouga, the nomadic depository, Khamlia village to visit the Gnawa’s village, originally slaves brought from darker-skin africa, to listen to their spiritual music, then continue to meet desert nomads in their tents, and discover a new sense of life. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations, you’ll leave for Rissani. Once called Sijilmassa, this was the meeting place for the salt caravans, coming from Timbuktu in Mali.

Here you’ll walk through the souk, selling spices, vegetables and cloths. After a lunch pizza in Rissani you will gon back to your amazing hotel in Merzouga to meet your camel caravan. Then, experience the Erg Chebbi dunes on camelback and watch the sunset change the color of the sand. Reach your desert camp before nightfall and enjoy an authentic Moroccan dinner under the stars. Local nomads will provide the entertainment and show you how to play the Tam Tam drums.

Day 3: Merzouga - Todra gorges

Day 1: Marrakech – Marrakech

Upon your arrival at Marrakesh Airport, you will be welcomed by a member of our team, and then you will be transferred to your accommodation.

Day 2: Marrakech – Dades Gorges

We pick you up from your accommodation in the morning to start our Marrakech Desert Tours trip through the High Atlas Mountains, the highest road pass in Morocco via Tizi n t’ichka (2260 m). Enjoying with it’s panoramic views and their magnificent landscapes, then later driving to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, UNESCO world heritage site – one of the best preserved and most spectacular Kasbah in Morocco. After that we continue to Dades crossing the city of Skour palm grove, and Rose Valley arriveing to Dades Gorge. Night in Hotel there.

Day 3: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast depart to Merzouga via Todra Gorge, a very wonderful canyon with its high standing rocks 300m high, then we continue Merzouga. Passing through the town of Erfoud very famous for it’s dates international festival and also for being a fossils town. Arrival to Merzouga where you will spend night in Hotel.

Day 4: Desert tour around Merzouga – Camel trek night in Desert

As far we will cross the Draa Valley one of the longest river in Morocco, with it’s huge member of palm trees. We arrive to Agdz, the old caravan route linking Marrakech to Timbuktu. We head to Ouarzazate therough Tizi-n-Infinite pass to Ouarzazate, where you can visit the film-making studios, there we can travel along the huge history of film-making industry in Hollywood of Africa.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Come back to Marrakech, however before stop to visit Kasbah Taourirt; Visit the Ouarzazate studios where a few triumphs, for example, “Combatant” or “Alexander the Incomparable” were taped. Day 1: Airport in Casablanca

When you arrive at Mohammed V airport in Casablanca, we will welcome you and drive you to your hotel located in the heart of the economic capital of Morocco. next day you will start your Days Tours Around Morocco From Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast at your hotel. We will begin our visit by visiting the spectacular Hassan II Mosque – the second largest religious building in the world open to non-Muslims. We then left for the administrative capital of Morocco, Rabat. In Rabat, you will visit: the magnificent Kasbah Oudayas, Hassan tower with its unfinished minaret, the mausoleum of Mahammed V and Hassan 2 (father of the current king) and the necropolis of Chellah.

After lunch, we will go to Chefchaouen via the city of Ouazzan. Most of the trip will be done by the mountains of Rif before arriving at the beautiful pearl of Morocco, Chefchaouen. Night in a Riad.

Day 3: Chefchaouen Sightseeing

After breakfast we will start exploring Chefchaouen (known as the Blue City). With its narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed walls, blue doors, windows and mountains, Chefchaouen is the perfect place for fascinating images.

We will then head to the holy city of Moulay Driss (pilgrimage for Moroccans).

After lunch in the city, we continue our trip to Meknes where you will explore: the huge Mansour gate, the granary, the Swani basin, the old medina with its souks and Lahdim square where you can relax in the city. one of his coffees. Then walk inside the narrow alleys of the Medina- Unisco World Heritage Site – with beautiful arts and crafts including objects carved of local Thuya wood.

Lunch in a Moroccan way, freshly bought fish ” cooked to order ”. Essaouira is also known as ” City of the wind ”, it attracts surfers from different parts of the world. Essaouira was occupied by Romans, Phoenicians and Portuguese . Thus, there is a big influence noticed in its architecture. It is a small town with much history. In the afternoon, we will take the road back to Marrakesh. Overnight in your Riad.

Day 12: Transfer to Airport

Day 2 : Rabat - Moulay Boussalham- Asilla

After breakfast, we will leave for Assilah via Moulay Boussalham. But before departure, we will visit Kasbah Oudaya and the mausoleum where kings are buried, then we take the road via Kenitra to reach the city of Moulay Boussalham with its beautiful lagoon and Lake Merja Zerka. Enjoying panoramic views of the Mountains and their grand scenes, later we continue driving visit to Telouat Kasbah is a stunning, crumbling Kasbah with a beautiful mountainous backdrop, one of the most spectacular in the Atlas Mountains, although now it is in various states of decay.

It was started by the Glaoui family who had risen to power of Morocco south of the High Atlas in the late 1800s, and who worked with the French in the early 1900s; however, it was never completed, then Vally Onila, arriving Ait Ben haddou Kasbah, UNESCO world legacy site, one of the best saved and most marvelous Kasbah in Morocco, and several films have been shot there, including: ‘Lawrence of Arabia’, ‘Gladiator’ and ‘Alexander’. Day 2: Merzouga–Todra Gorges–Dades valley.

If we wake up early enough, we can watch the spectacle of sunrise, when the colour of the dunes combine with the play of shadows to make an awesome sight. After breakfast we leave Desert to Tinghir and Todra Gorges via Rissani, once called Sijilmassa, this was the meeting place for the salt caravans, coming from Timbuktu in Mali. The road passes through Tinejdad and the Todra Valley.

This stunning area affords plenty of opportunities to walk, such as along the river through the gardens or up the road on the other side of the gorge. Later, we will continue to the Dades Valley and the Dades Gorges before spending the night in a hotel.

Day 3: Dades Valley–Skoura–Ait Benhaddou–Marrakech.

Later go Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, the highest road pass in Morocco via Tizi n t’ichka (2260 m). Enjoying with it’s panoramic views and their magnificent landscapes. Arrival Marrakech where our Fes to Marrakech Desert tour will end.

Driving Quads does not require any prior experience or driving license, but driver has to be able to control the vehicle as he’s supposed to drive through sandy and rough off-roads, thus you can request a guide who’ll teach you how to use it properly. We pick you up from your accommodation in the morning to start our Zagora to M’Hamid El Ghizlane by 4×4 vehicle, head to Tamegroute, a small village in the Draa Valley, famous for the production of ceramics. Discover the ancient religious center of Tamegroute in Morocco, Zawiya Nasiriyya. This Qur’anic Library was built in the 17th century and is wonderful to explore. Then head to M’hamid El Ghizlane, along the Draa Valley, with its endless palm trees. After lunch continue on the Chegaga dunes road.

After arriving you will exchange your 4×4 for camels! Enjoy the sunset on the Erg Chegaga dunes before heading to the camp. Enjoy dinner and breakfast in the camp. The next you can get up early if you would like to enjoy sunrise among the dunes, after your breakfast we leave desert driving via the old Paris-Dakar road to Foum Zguid. On the way, we will cross by the dried salt lake bed of Lake Iriqui. After Lunch in Foum Zguid go back to Zagora.
